What is the Premium Visa Programme (PVIP)?
Since October 2022, Malaysia's Premium Visa Programme has offered affluent foreigners a "Residency Through Investment" path: invest, then reside for 20 years — renewable for another 20.
MYPVIP is Malaysia's first government-certified PVIP agent, guiding every application from eligibility assessment to visa collection, with a 99% approval rate built on meticulous preparation.

Six criteria to qualify
Every PVIP application is assessed against these six core requirements set by the Immigration Department of Malaysia.
Investment
RM 1,000,000A local fixed deposit placement, with no withdrawal in the first 6 months from the date of visa endorsement. Up to 50% withdrawal permitted thereafter.
Proof of Foreign Income
RM 40,000/moOr RM 480,000 annually. Principal applicants must provide proof of offshore income meeting this threshold.
Letter of Good Conduct
From Origin CountryIssued by the authorities of the country where the applicant currently resides, certified and translated as required.
Medical Requirements
All ApplicantsA medical report from any private hospital or registered clinic in Malaysia, plus proof of valid local medical insurance.
Participation Fee
RM 200,000A one-off fee for the principal applicant, plus RM 100,000 for each dependant included in the application.
Age Requirement
NoneUnlike MM2H, PVIP has no minimum or maximum age requirement for the principal applicant.

Common PVIP questions
- No age limits;
- Up to 20 years Multiple Entry Visa (MEV)
- Exemption of the minimum staying requirement;
- Participants are also allowed to work and carry out legal business activities in accordance with the laws of the country;
- Permission to study;
- Permission to purchase real estate for residential, commercial or industrial purposes;
- Conduct active investments in permitted fields; and
- Participants can be accompanied by spouses, children, parents and foreign domestic helpers.
- Earn an offshore / onshore income of RM 40,000 monthly or RM 480,000 annually;
- Open a Fixed Deposit account of RM 1 million with a licensed bank in Malaysia;
- To pay Participation Fees (RM 200,000 for Principal and RM 50,000 or RM 100,000 for each dependent); and
- All applications are required to be made through an authorised agency appointed by the Immigration Department of Malaysia (IDM)
- To provide financial statement(s) proof of monthly income of RM 40,000 or RM 480,000 annually;
- To place a Fixed Deposit of RM 1 million, and be eligible to withdraw up to 50% after the first 6 months from the date of first PVIP endorsement.
- To pay the Participation Fees for RM 200,000 (Principal Applicant) and RM 50,000 or RM 100,000 for each Dependent, upon application approval.
- Legal Spouse(s) of Principal Applicant;
- Child(ren) below 25 years old (biological / stepchild / legally adopted) of the Principal Applicant;
- Disabled Child(ren) regardless of age (provision of a letter of confirmation from a medical specialist / general practitioner);
- Parent(s) and in-law(s) of the Principal Applicant.
The only way to sponsor your stepchildren is if your spouse holds full custody of them — in that case, both your spouse and the stepchildren must be included together in the same application.
