Malaysia determined to ensure faster approval for investments, PM Anwar tells Dewan Rakyat

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has said Malaysia will take immediate steps to make it easier to do business in the country by speeding up project approvals, after many investors raised concerns about approval delays.
"This is why I have decided to take immediate steps to make the changes, not only to the One Stop Centre at the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) but also to the Investment and Trade Coordination Action Committee under MITI, in collaboration with the Prime Minister's Department," — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim
He made the remarks during Minister's Question Time in the Dewan Rakyat, responding to a question from Tam Kar Hing (PH-Gopeng) about the outcomes of his overseas working visits — including investment results, intergovernmental cooperation, and the level of foreign investor confidence in Malaysia.
